We’re Open 365 Days! |
Did you know? Shipping lanes on The Great Lakes can close for as little as 80-90 days every winter from late December thru early March. That doesn’t mean we ever really slow down around here, however. Our terminal remains busy throughout the winter, receiving interlake shipments, managing warehoused material and shipping it into and across rail and heavy truck channels.

Still Waters Run Deep |
Did you know? The Port of Toledo features safe, sheltered waters with shipping lane drafts in excess of 28 ft. (8.5 m.). Midwest Terminals offers 7 berths on 4,100 ft. (1,250 m.) of dock frontage, all of it with 28 ft. (8.5 m.) of draft. With 28 ft. (8.5 m.) of draft in every berth, we can handle fully loaded 1000 ft. (305 m.) vessels with no problem.

How We Do It So Fast… |
Did you know? The average worker at Midwest Terminals is far above average – with decades of experience under his (or her) belt. We’re more than happy to work three shifts – 24/7 - to serve you. We’re endowed with the most capable equipment to be found on any Great Lakes dock, and the Esprit d’Corps here is truly amazing… you won’t find another port more determined to deliver for you.
